Quilling is an art-form where we use strips of paper, rolled, shaped and glued together. It is a very relaxing activity, we are privileged to have a very knowledgeable tutor: Mary Maloney.
When I told my friends I was doing quilling in the Art class in Warrenmount they said “what is quilling?” And to be honest with you I did not know what it was until I joined the art and craft Class in Warrenmount.
It is the 20th Anniversary of the Warrenmount Community Education and Development Centre, so our Tutor, Mary will relate something extra special, with the help of her students.
Tuesday morning here in Warrenmount we are under no pressure the atmosphere is very pleasant and enjoyable.
I am pleased with my efforts, below are some examples of Quilling. I would be delighted to reach the stage were I could create on a par with the amazing designs that our Tutor Mary creates.
Keep watching this space to see the Quilling project to celebrate 20 years of our Centre!!
